Q. How do I find a MeSH Heading?

MeSH is the controlled vocabulary used by the National Library of Medicine. MeSH stands for Medical Subject Heading. You can find out what MeSH heading corresponds to your keyword by looking it up in the MeSH database.

1. Go to PubMed either through the Boxer Library website or through Google.
2. Once in PubMed, click on MeSH under the Explore section.
3. Now you can search for your term and select the appropriate MeSH heading for your research.
