Q. How do I access library resources online?

Please follow the steps outlined below. This process is the same both on campus and off:

1. Go to the University website: www.rosalindfranklin.edu. Typing "RFUMS" into most internet search engines (Google, etc.) will also lead to the university website.  
2. Click the "Library" link at the top of the page. 
3. Click the link for the resource you are interested in. Frequently-used resources (UpToDate, PubMed, etc.) can be found in the "Popular Resources" section on the right (or at the bottom of the page on mobile). Keyword and title-level searching can be done using the LibrarySearch search bar at the top of the page. 
4. Log in with your HelixNet username and password when prompted. If you have trouble logging in, or if you do not know your HelixNet username and password, please call the IT HelpDesk at 847-578-8800.    

If you are a volunteer faculty member and you do not have a HelixNet account, please speak to your department as it may be necessary to formalize your faculty appointment. HelixNet accounts can only be issued to people with formal university affiliations.
