To import a PubMed citation into RefWorks, do the following:

1. Click on the article title you want to save the citation for on the PubMed search results screen to be taken to the detailed record for the article, or select multiple articles from your search result screen
2. Click on Send to
3. Select Citation Manager, then click Create File to download the file to your computer; the file extension will be .nbib
4. Log in to RefWorks
5. Click on the Add or + sign in in the grey toolbar at the top of the RefWorks website, then click on Import from the drop down options
6. Drag the .nbib file you downloaded earlier (or choose select a file from your computer) to the upload portion of the screen
7. RefWorks should automatically identify the .nbib file as originating from NLM PubMed; click Import
8. Assign the reference(s) to a folder (optional) and/or click Import

You should see confirmation that reference or references have been added to your account.
